Branding Photography: Meet Gerry of Petal's Edge Floral Design

Allow me to introduce the lovely subject of my latest session, Gerry Rogers, the creative mind behind Petal's Edge Floral Design. We had so much fun chatting, laughing and getting some great photos!

With over two decades of experience as an event designer, Gerry's brand is a testament to her polished and sophisticated approach. Stepping into my studio, she exuded a sense of calm confidence that perfectly mirrored her floral creations. She brought with her the most gorgeous bouquet that we shamelessly incorporated into the session!

Gerry's founded Petal's Edge Floral Design in 2004, and it quickly earned recognition as a Washingtonian Weddings Best Wedding Vendor. Her success comes as no surprise, given her background and passion for flowers. Growing up as the daughter of a diplomat and hobby horticulturist, flowers became an integral part of her life from an early age.

Collaborating with Gerry was a pleasure; her expertise and dedication to her craft were evident as we worked together in the studio.

Gerry’s makeup was done by the wonderful Valerie Hammer of Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry, adding an extra touch of elegance to the day.

Gerry clearly has a wealth of experience and her work speaks volumes about her commitment to timeless beauty and creating meaningful connections through her art.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the incredibly talented graphic designer, Jennifer Lavallee, in a branding session that was truly enjoyable.

Jennifer designs stationery and her designs are a beautiful blend of simplicity and modern aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the world of beauty, fashion, and life's little wonders.

Throughout the shoot, Jennifer's natural grace in front of the camera was evident. She rocked a purple spring dress, and her casual style with a white T-shirt and white jeans was effortlessly chic.

What made the session even more delightful was Jennifer's enthusiasm and passion for her work. We shared some laughs and creative ideas, making the entire experience enjoyable and laid-back.

Branding Photography | Meet Sarah

I’ve been having so much fun doing more brand photography in my new studio space! I’ve met so many talented and inspiring individuals! My recent photo session with Sarah, a personal coach, was SO fun. Sarah's easy-going and relatable personality, coupled with her zest for life, made our time together truly enjoyable as we captured images that reflect her fun and joyful spirit.

From the moment I met Sarah, her warm and approachable demeanor put me at ease. She radiated courage and authenticity, and her infectious laughter added an extra layer of joy to the shoot. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, and the genuine moments we captured truly showcase her vibrant personality.

We did a mix of indoor and outdoor and I think the outdoor surroundings particularly complemented Sarah's lively spirit. Her adorable dog, Daisy, became an integral part of the session, adding an element of playfulness that tugged at the heartstrings. The bond between Sarah and Daisy was evident, making the photos even more special.
