In partnership with Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry, you'll leave with polished, natural-looking headshots and the confidence that comes from feeling your best.

  • The most important thing is to wear something you feel GREAT in. That confidence shines through and if you feel good, you look good. Wear something that reflects you. Most people opt for one casual and one more professional look. We are here to guide, provide ideas, thoughts and opinions and always welcome bringing options!

  • Most people feel unsure at first, especially if they are not photographed often. You do not need to know how to pose or what to do. You will be guided throughout the entire session so nothing feels awkward or forced.

  • Yes. Signature Session images work well for LinkedIn profiles, personal websites, social media, speaking engagements, and other professional uses. Many clients use them across multiple platforms.

  • You will start with professional hair and makeup at Val’s studio, followed by your portrait session at Ginny’s photography studio. The studios are only minutes apart and conveniently located near I-495 and the ICC in Silver Spring (20906).

  • No. These sessions are intentionally designed to feel unhurried and supportive. Hair, makeup, and photography are scheduled with enough time so you can settle in and enjoy the experience.

  • I lightly touch all the images for you to review and happy to do heavier retouching on your final 5.
