WHAT ARE SIGNATURE SESSIONS?

Signature Sessions are a collaborative portrait experience designed for women who value quality, ease, and feeling fully taken care of.

I’ve partnered with Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry to offer a seamless, elevated portrait experience right here in Silver Spring, MD. This is intentional time set aside for you, without rushing, multitasking, or figuring things out on your own.

Whether you need professional headshots for LinkedIn or social media, updated personal branding images, or lifestyle photos, Signature Sessions are centered on one thing: you showing up confidently and comfortably, with guidance every step of the way.

You’ll begin with a full professional hair and makeup experience at Val’s makeup studio, followed by private portraits at my photography studio. Both studios are located just minutes apart and conveniently accessible from I-495 and the ICC in Silver Spring (20906), making the experience efficient and stress-free.

  • Full, uninterrupted professional hair and makeup application
    (approximately 1.5–2 hours)

  • Approximately 30-minute professional portrait session

  • Two outfit changes

  • Five digital image downloads, with the option to purchase additional images

  • Weekday sessions only

PRICING

$595 + tax
This reflects a savings of over $200 compared to booking hair, makeup, and photography separately.

BOOKING

To book a Signature Session, you can contact either Ginny or Val directly.

To officially reserve your session date, you will receive a photography contract to sign.
• A 50% deposit of the photography portion is required to hold your date
• Remaining payment is due online by the session date

Additional details including parking, exact location, and what to expect during your session
will be shared as your date approaches.

Who Signature Sessions Are For

Signature Sessions are designed for women who are doing meaningful work and want their photos to reflect that.

I am thrilled with the pictures from my session! Most people opt for one casual and one more professional look. We are here to guide, provide ideas, thoughts and opinions and always welcome bringing options!

  • Completely. Most people feel unsure at first, especially if they are not photographed often. You do not need to know how to pose or what to do. You will be guided throughout the entire session so nothing feels awkward or forced.

  • Yes. Signature Session images work well for LinkedIn profiles, personal websites, social media, speaking engagements, and other professional uses. Many clients use them across multiple platforms.

  • You will start with professional hair and makeup at Val’s studio, followed by your portrait session at Ginny’s photography studio. The studios are only minutes apart and conveniently located near I-495 and the ICC in Silver Spring (20906).

  • No. These sessions are intentionally designed to feel unhurried and supportive. Hair, makeup, and photography are scheduled with enough time so you can settle in and enjoy the experience.
