I’m a Washington DC DMV family photographer based in Silver Spring, MD, and I love capturing joyful, natural connections during the season when blossoms and light are beautifully soft and the world feels fresh again. FuLL PRIVATE SESSION - custom and intimate

LOCATION
I serve the Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia region with sessions in scenic parks, gardens, urban backdrops, and meaningful personal spaces — including your own backyard if that tells your story best (outdoor or studio). Local favorites you might consider: cherry blossoms, leafy parks, gardens, or classic neighborhood spots.

FULL SESSION AVAILABILITY
Thursday and Friday sessions are generally between 9:30 and 3 unless otherwise noted. Weekends are very limited due to family commitments. Studio sessions may have more available dates/times than what is listed, so please inquire!

What about weekends?
To better align my own values and schedule, my weekends are prioritized for family time. For that reason, my weekend availability is very limited. Most available weekends will be dedicated to mini sessions (info below) You can read more about it here!
creative scheduling ideas FOR WEEKDAY SESSIONS:
Plan a "family day off" away from work and school for a session, followed by a family activity (farm, bike ride, museum, nature trail) that is normally packed on the weekends.
Check your school calendar for days off and plan your session accordingly. (MCPS days off 3/30 - 4/6, 4/15, 5/25, 5/27)
Opt for a morning session with a late start or leave a little early for an early afternoon time. I can accommodate earlier or later depending on location.

TACK-ON SESSION
30-MINUTE SESSION $495 (40-50 images)
These shorter sessions are discounted as the timing and location are based on an already scheduled private session. Your time is added before or after an existing session and lasts about 30 minutes. perfect for families who want a little extra without a full separate session. Ask about available dates and locations!
INDIVIDUAL MINI SESSIONS
15-MINUTE SESSION $249
(5 digital images with option to purchase more or full gallery | $49/image or $200 full gallery)
Available at a designated outdoor location in Silver Spring (20906) or in my studio.
Locations are chosen for beautiful light, ease of access, and a relaxed experience
Outdoor locations are pre-selected and not customizable for mini sessions.
BOOKING
Reach out with your preferred date, location, and family details. (ages of kids)
I’ll send a contract and online booking info.
A 50% non-refundable retainer holds your session date.
The remainder is due by your session.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Weather can be tricky, and I've found after years of tracking the weather for sessions that the forecast is not truly accurate until a few hours before. Cloudy skies can make for great lighting, we just don't want it to be actually raining! If rain is in the forecast, I ask what the latest possible time we can make the call for a "Plan B" given the time it takes you to get everyone ready and transported, etc. I would hate to get everyone dressed up and then have to cancel!
If it still is looking like rain, we can either move the session indoors to your home or my studio. If you're not comfortable being inside, or we can reschedule based on both of our availability.
