One of the most important questions about family sessions….what to wear??? Here are some tips to help you choose the right outfits:

2. Dress it Up: There is no such thing as “too dressy” for your portrait session. Dressy photos always stand out amongst those who go the more casual route, and they are so captivating to see.
3. Consider the location: Think about the location of the photo session and choose outfits that complement the surroundings. For example, if you are taking photos in the fall, warmer colors can create a fall vibe.
4. Dress for the season: Choose outfits that are appropriate for the season and weather. In colder months, layers and textures like scarves, jackets, and sweaters can add depth and interest to your outfits.
5. Keep it timeless: Avoid trendy or flashy clothing that may look dated in a few years or large logos. Stick with classic, timeless outfits that will still look great years down the road.

7. Dress comfortably: Make sure everyone's outfits are comfortable and allow for movement. You want everyone to feel relaxed and at ease during the photo session. Kids don’t need anything more to complain about! Wear something you feel GOOD in- if you’re not comfortable or confident in what you are wearing, it will come through in the images!
8. Treat Yourself: This is a great time to treat yourself and go pro! Pamper yourself by getting your nails, hair, and makeup done professionally. It makes you feel beautiful, and it looks stunning on camera! I can recommend a fantastic make-up artist!
