Back in the Studio with Veniqua: Strength, Confidence, and a Killer Set of Branding Headshots
Fitness coach Veniqua returned to my Silver Spring studio for her second headshot session, bringing her signature energy and confidence. With makeup by Valerie Hammer, we created a bold, polished set of images that match the power of her brand.
It’s always fun when clients come back for another session. This was my second time photographing Veniqua, a fitness coach with a strong sense of who she is. She’s confident, grounded, and knows how to show up in front of the camera.
We kept it simple in the studio, with black outfit against a white backdrop.
Big thanks to Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry for the flawless makeup as always. She always knows how to enhance without overdoing it, keeping the look clean and natural.

Parisa brought all the light and energy to her branding session! Yesterday's session was everything you dream of as a branding photographer: incredible energy, impeccable wardrobe choices, and a client who felt every bit of the moment. Parisa brought all the boss vibes with a side of joy and authenticity—she was truly in her element, and it shows.
Why This Session Mattered
Parisa is the powerhouse behind Pristine Business Consulting. She empowers women—especially moms and caregivers juggling all the things—to find confidence and freedom in their finances. Our goal? Create an upscale yet approachable set of images that reflect both her polished professionalism and her vibrant, real-life relatability.
Her storylines were all about balance: expert consultant meets busy mama, strategic thinker meets down-to-earth friend. We played with both of those energies in our locations—starting in her own home, and finishing at my studio with elevated headshots and some fun, powerful poses that scream "I got this."

Meet Karen Chopra—career strategist, executive coach, and all-around powerhouse. I recently had the honor of photographing her for a fresh set of headshots that truly reflect her warmth, wisdom, and professionalism. Photographing Karen Chopra was a true pleasure; she brings a calm confidence and thoughtful presence to everything she does. As a career strategist and founder of Chopra Careers, she helps professionals across industries build fulfilling and impactful careers, so of course, her brand imagery needed to match her caliber.
I was connected with Karen through LinkedIn after I offered free headshots for federal workers. She had a similar desire to help federal workers and providing career services. She participated in our “Day for Feds” to provide career help for anyone unexpectedly looking for a new next step.
So I was super excited when she reached out for a refresh on her branding headshots. We aimed to capture photos that felt authentic, confident, and approachable.
I loved her outfit options (um, yes purple!!) and of course partnered with Val of Valerie Hammer of Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry, who worked her magic to create a look that was both elevated and true to Karen's style.
Throughout the session, Karen's energy was warm and grounded. She has this way of making you feel like you've known her forever, which is probably why she's so successful at what she does!
