Meaghan is the founder of The Rosewood Firm, a luxury legal concierge practice based in the DC area. She's the person you call when the unexpected happens, when the stakes are high, or when privacy, strategy, and support all need to show up at once. Whether it's a family crisis, criminal charge, or sensitive document review, Meaghan is the person you want on your side.
We created this brand session to reflect all of that.
She didn’t want stiff headshots or traditional law firm imagery. Instead, we focused on capturing presence. Her strength and calm. Her ability to walk into chaos and start solving it. The moments where she’s quietly reading a text that changes the course of someone's day, or arriving at a door, ready to be someone's advocate.
The space we used was perfect—a beautiful mix of natural light and clean, structured design. It gave us exactly what we needed: warmth, minimalism, and calm. It let Meaghan take center stage.
Throughout the shoot, Meaghan brought the full range of her brand to life. From crisp white suits and coffee-pouring moments to editorial frames and steady, in-motion shots—she embodied the part problem-solver, part confidante role she plays in her clients' lives every day.
These photos aren't about showcasing a specific legal service. They're about showing how it feels to have someone like Meaghan in your corner. Someone who answers the phone, shows up, and solves the thing before you even know how to explain it.

Meet Karen Chopra—career strategist, executive coach, and all-around powerhouse. I recently had the honor of photographing her for a fresh set of headshots that truly reflect her warmth, wisdom, and professionalism. Photographing Karen Chopra was a true pleasure; she brings a calm confidence and thoughtful presence to everything she does. As a career strategist and founder of Chopra Careers, she helps professionals across industries build fulfilling and impactful careers, so of course, her brand imagery needed to match her caliber.
I was connected with Karen through LinkedIn after I offered free headshots for federal workers. She had a similar desire to help federal workers and providing career services. She participated in our “Day for Feds” to provide career help for anyone unexpectedly looking for a new next step.
So I was super excited when she reached out for a refresh on her branding headshots. We aimed to capture photos that felt authentic, confident, and approachable.
I loved her outfit options (um, yes purple!!) and of course partnered with Val of Valerie Hammer of Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry, who worked her magic to create a look that was both elevated and true to Karen's style.
Throughout the session, Karen's energy was warm and grounded. She has this way of making you feel like you've known her forever, which is probably why she's so successful at what she does!

A great headshot is more than just a nice photo—it’s about feeling confident, looking like you, and having a little fun in the process! Nonja’s recent session at my Silver Spring studio was exactly that, with gorgeous makeup by Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry and plenty of good vibes.
Headshots can feel so….intimidating. BUT, they can be fun! It’s about getting relaxed and feeling confident at the same time.

That’s why it is SO important to do the things that will bring a sense of comfort and confidence. This is what brings out the natural you.
It starts with hair and makeup. Putting you in the hands of someone that KNOWS hair and makeup and how to tailor it for you makes all the difference. I partner with Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry (our studios are 2 minutes apart!) and she doesn’t just know the right makeup, she knows the right makeup for you and for photos. (I know, who knew they were different things?)

The next piece is feeling relaxed in front of the camera. That’s my job. :). It’s just me and you and I help walk you through exactly what to do. We play fun music and we keep it light and not-so-serious. (because too much of life is already serious!) And that’s how we make the magic happen!
