We got to check out the new Hell’s Kitchen on the Wharf in DC! Kelly is a huge Gordon Ramsey fan, so the expectations were high….I want to say they were matched….but….it was a cool experience but I have to say we were left a little underwhelmed…still a fun night out!
This weekend we took a little stroll around DC and take some photos- our tour took us to the National Gallery of Art East Building, some areas around the mall, a random protest for public education, and the Bishop's Garden. All in all, lots of good photo ops!
I'm not going to lie- I love being a tourist in my own city. So when one of my favorite friends from growing up comes to visit with her family- it's game time!
I don't pretend to know it all (please don't ask me about that random statue- I promise I don't know) but I can provide the resources! This time we tried the DC Duck tours! Every bit of fun as you can imagine. I HIGHLY recommend. (especially with kids!)
We also went to the Jefferson Memorial, the National Zoo and the US Botanical Gardens. All big hits! (for me too!) It was fun sharing my city with such great company!
