Extended Family Session | Red Gate Park

I always love getting to photograph families more than once—and this extended family was just as fun (and photogenic!) the second time around. We met up at Red Gate Park, a new-to-me location that turned out to be a perfect fit. Plenty of space, good light, and a sand pit that the kids zeroed in on immediately.

The weather was warm, the energy was high, and the kids were all about exploring. They ran, they chased, they found feathers (which quickly became treasure), and they made the most of that sand pit. Honestly, the best part of sessions like this is letting the kids lead—those in-between moments and unscripted laughs are always the winners.

We grabbed some group shots, let the cousins play, and captured lots of little connections between siblings, parents, and granddad. Everyone rolled with the chaos in the best way, and we ended up with a great mix of posed and candid photos.

Thanks again to this sweet crew for trusting me (again!) and for being such good sports. Red Gate Park might just be a new favorite.
