I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Nichols family once again, and I love seeing how their little ones are growing. This time, we had explored Fort CF Smith Park in Arlington, VA. I love the backdrop of this park and especially this tree!
Jack—now 2 years old—was definitely ready to explore. He was all about running around and doing his own thing, which made for some of the most authentic, joyful photos. There’s something special about letting kids take the lead in a session. It allows me to capture them in their element, doing what they love best. It’s better then trying to fight them every step of the way!
A big sister, Maddie, is a pro in front of the camera. She brings a sweet, calm energy that complements her brother’s boundless excitement. It was fun letting them run together.
Thanks again, Nichols family!
