Rina and Derek had the sweetest wedding day at the National Zoo! It was a small ceremony of just immediate family- and we came together near a place called "The Gathering" by the gorillas at the zoo for Rina and Derek to exchange their own vows and be married! The family enjoyed a delicious lunch at Rasika afterwards to celebrate. Simply, lovely and classic! Such a great day! Congrats Derek and Rina!!
What a sweet morning with this family on a beautiful fall day! McKenzie did so great and is clearly enamored with her dog, Winston!
It was such a fun Halloween at Night of the Living Zoo! They opened the zoo for an "adult only" night of beer and wine in the park with food trucks, dancing, carousel rides and more! It was a good time! And I broke out an old costume dress from high school to go as a go-go 70's girl. Complete with fun boots and a wig!
The next day we headed to Great Country Farms for some good old fashion fall treats and pumpkins. We finished off at the Dirt Farm Brewery conveniently located across the street!
The weekend was rounded out with a wonderful afternoon with two amazing friends at the Creek's Edge Winery. SO good and so peaceful out there! Love it!
