I went to one of the free concerts at the Kennedy Center tonight with my friend Jill and enjoyed a lovely evening of music by the National Symphony Orchestra! I got there a little early to take in the amazing views from the terrace and get some photos (naturally) :)

This weekend, my son taught me a little lesson about courage at Butler's Orchard.

At first, he was terrified of the big "potato sack" slide. We convinced him to try it with me first and his expression pretty much says it all.
