This weekend's weather was absolutely perfect- I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Del Mar de Fabio Trabocchi on the Wharf in DC- the food was incredible and the views just perfect. A wonderful and beautiful evening!

I had such a wonderful time meeting Isaac and baby Helen at Lady Bird Johnson Park for a warm but lovely and quiet morning! We had a great time exploring the park and getting some super sweet photos! Love those blonde curls!!

Most people come into a photo session a little unsure.

They worry about feeling awkward.
They’re not sure how to pose.
They wonder if the photos will actually feel like them.

What I hear most often afterward is relief.

Some of the best Christmas moments aren’t the ones we plan.

On Sunday I woke up to laughter and the sound of gingerbread house decorating happening in the kitchen. I wasn’t even part of the plan. I just got to walk in and soak it up.

My last sessions of the year are officially delivered, and I’m stepping into full holiday mode over here. Cozy lights, too many blankets, and a tree that makes the whole house glow.
