Makris Family | Lifestyle Family Session | Driscoll Park

I love trying new locations, especially with long time clients! It was wonderful to see the Makris family again and chase two adorable and excited boys around the bridges and paths and trees! Such adorable smiles and happy moments at Driscoll Park near Hyattsville, Maryland.

2022 New Pricing Structure | Family Photography

What a year 2021 has been! There has been a lot of change and growth for me personally and professionally.

Last summer my family relocated to the lovely land of suburbia in Silver Spring, MD. This was a welcome change from our city life in DC that no longer fit our family with all the “new normals” of a pandemic.

I will be the first to say that I LOVE this change. But it is bittersweet as my heart does still love the city and all the rich culture, history, and diversity it affords. I loved easily exploring the city and discovering new hidden spots. But the combination of a newborn and a pandemic brought that adventure to a quick halt.

In order to prioritize time with my family but also serve so many wonderful clients that now feel like family, I have restructured my pricing to try to keep closer to home and encourage anyone who is able to discover Maryland with me! Understanding that is not always feasible, I will still offer sessions in DC and VA but with more limitations.

To help with this, I will be offering more mini sessions in the spring and fall. These are 15 and 30-minute sessions that happen at 1 location during the course of a morning or afternoon. I will offer a range of locations throughout DC, Maryland and Virginia to hopefully catch something close to you during one of those popular seasons! I plan to announce dates and locations in late FEBRUARY for the spring and AUGUST for the fall. Stay tuned! I will announce them on the blog but feel free to drop me a line if you want an email reminder when they are released.

Questions? Drop me a line. I look forward to capturing more magical moments for you and your family in 2022!
