Coffeebar DC

January 23, 2015 Ginny

I love checking out different coffee shops around town.  Ironic since I don't like coffee, but I love the ambiance and vibe of the local shops and communities.  Here is The Coffeebar DC! 2015-01-23_0028 2015-01-23_0029 2015-01-23_0030 2015-01-23_0031 2015-01-23_0032 2015-01-23_0033 2015-01-23_0034 2015-01-23_0035 2015-01-23_0036 2015-01-23_0037

Golden light. Giggles. And a park that felt like home.
These girls ran, explored, and totally owned their space at Reservoir Park.

Smiles were ready, energy was high, and the leaves were showing off. The Haskell family came prepared to move fast, and we made the most of every minute.
Including their au pair made it extra sweet.

Playing and having fun in the moment are sometimes some of my favorite pics from a session. Don't forget to just enjoy one another and let that unfold in front of the camera!

Happy Halloween from the strongest, coolest Hulk - don't mess when he's mad! 🤣😮😱
I love that his school still does the traditional Halloween parade!
A different type of session...

As the days get colder and home feels a little cozier, there’s something special about capturing your family as you truly are.

Documentary sessions tell the full story: the chaos, the cute, and the not-so-cute.
Brooks and Bo did everything but sit still.
They ran. They laughed. They took turns running away from me.
And we captured the sweetest little moments in between.

This fall session at Rock Creek Park had all the energy and all the heart.
Because real
Back in March, I was part of an event that offered free headshots for federal employees. One of the women who came in was Seema.

Just last week I got to photograph her family and their sweet pup. One of her boys is in his senior year, preparing for
A golden fall day.
Two joyful kids.

We explored Seneca Creek with this sweet crew, and loved the giggles, snuggles and so many little moments that tell the real story of this season in their lives.

No stiff posing. No rushing.
Just connection, move
