A Lifestyle Newborn Session Full of Sweet Surprises
There’s something so special about being invited back to capture a family’s second newborn. Three years ago, I photographed Charlie as a tiny baby. Now, I had the joy of returning for his little sister Rosie’s lifestyle newborn photography session.
Every newborn session has its own rhythm, and Rosie’s was beautifully calm. She slept soundly the entire time, perfectly content. Meanwhile, her parents had one big worry: would Charlie want to be part of the photos, or would he shy away from the camera?
The answer? He completely stole the show. Instead of resistance, Charlie jumped right in, followed directions, and embraced his role as big brother with the sweetest enthusiasm. Watching him snuggle his sister and beam with pride was such a full-circle moment compared to the first time I met him as a newborn.
