I recently had the pleasure of capturing another beautiful chapter in the McCann family’s journey. It doesn’t feel like that long ago I was photographing the arrival of their son, Ryan, and now, two years later, I had the honor of meeting their adorable new addition, Katie.

Ryan definitely embraced his role as big brother. He was so gentle and sweet with Katie, always eager to hold her little hand and sneak in a kiss. Katie rocked her sleepy smiles and cuddles. I love capturing those fleeting, yet precious, connections.

Lifestyle newborn sessions like these are all about the natural, candid moments—the kind that can’t be posed, just gently directed. :) I love documenting these stages of life.
