LOCATION
I conduct sessions all over the DMV area, and here are some of my favorites that work well for families! (but always open to other suggestions!). We can also do the session outside your home in the front and/or backyard. (Please note price difference based on location!). I also have an indoor studio space.
The session includes up to an hour session at the location of your choice and all digital copies (70-100) of the photos that are lightly edited and delivered online for you to download and use as you please. (printing, social media, etc)
FULL SESSION AVAILABILITY
Thursday and Friday sessions are generally between 9:30 and 2:30 unless otherwise noted. Weekends are very limited due to family commitments. If listed as available, I have more flexibility to schedule earlier or later. Studio sessions may have more available dates/times than what is listed, so please inquire!

What about weekends?
To better align my own values and schedule, my weekends are prioritized for family time. For that reason, my weekend availability is very limited. Most available weekends will be dedicated to mini sessions (info below) You can read more about it here!
creative scheduling ideas FOR WEEKDAY SESSIONS:
Plan a "family day off" away from work and school for a session, followed by a family activity (farm, bike ride, museum, nature trail) that is normally packed on the weekends.
Check your school calendar for days off and plan your session accordingly.
Opt for a morning session with a late start or leave a little early for an early afternoon time.
Catch a summer weekday session before school and activities kick in.

TACK-ON SESSION
30-MINUTE SESSION $495 (40-50 images)
These shorter sessions are discounted as the timing and location are based on an already scheduled private session. Your time is added before or after an existing session and lasts about 30 minutes. Ask about available dates and locations!
Can’t decide between a Full Private Session or a Mini?
Here are some things to consider!
BOOKING
To officially reserve a session date, I will send you a contract that you can sign online. Please provide your address, best contact number, names of everyone appearing in the photos and the ages of any kids.
A 50% nonrefundable retainer is due at booking. An invoice will be sent online to pay with credit card.
The remainder is due no later than 3 days after the session.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Weather can be tricky, and I've found after years of tracking the weather for sessions that the forecast is not truly accurate until a few hours before. Cloudy skies can make for great lighting, we just don't want it to be actually raining! If rain is in the forecast, I ask what the latest possible time we can make the call for a "Plan B" given the time it takes you to get everyone ready and transported, etc. I would hate to get everyone dressed up and then have to cancel!
If it still is looking like rain, we can either move the session indoors to your home or my studio. If you're not comfortable being inside, or we can reschedule based on both of our availability.
