National Building Museum

August 12, 2016 Ginny

I finally made it to the Iceberg exhibit at the National Building Museum!  It was a very interesting exhibit showing the formation of icebergs and the way they look below and above the surface!  There was also a really cool dollhouse exhibit.  Loved it!

I had such a wonderful evening celebrating my dear friend Jill's birthday with lots of good friends at Fig and Olive!  Such a cool place and I can't believe this was my first time there!  Good food...great friends...a lot of gratitude!

Magic Hour by the Monuments

July 16, 2016 Ginny

You may have heard of "magic hour"- the hour right around sunrise and sunset when the light is the most beautiful and the most flattering.  I had a rare free evening to head to the monuments at magic hour and catch some pretty pretty pictures!

Back with one of my favorite extended families—this time at a new spot: Red Gate Park 🌳

It was warm, the kids were happy, and we had full access to fields, running and the ultimate kid magnet: a giant sand pit. 😄

Say hi to baby Zoe

This sweet in-home newborn session had everything I love: chill vibes, cozy light, and a two-year-old big brother doing exactly what two-year-olds do best - whatever they want. :)

Extended family sessions can feel a little chaotic… but this family? They brought the love, the laughter, and the fun cousin energy.

Thanks to this amazing bunch for showing up, showing love, and making it such a joy to capture!

Stole this cute idea from another brand photographer because… how could I not!? It’s such a fun way to introduce (or re-introduce) myself!

Annnnd that’s a wrap for 6th grade! This girl “slayed” her first year of Middle School & makes me so proud. 🥹 💕Bring on summer!! ☀️
Photographing kids under five? Let’s just say... you learn to expect the unexpected.

Between snack breaks, wiggles, and full-on sprints mid-shot, it can feel a little chaotic — but also so full of fun, spontaneity, and real connection.
