Mommy and Me Session | Silver Spring, MD

Loved this sweet Mommy and son session with Juliana and James! Juliana reached out wanting to capture the sweet bond between mom and son before he was "too old" for a photo shoot with Mommy. I can completely relate and love that we did this! She treated herself to makeup with Valerie Hammer Makeup Artistry so she looked her best, could bring all the confidence and smiles and snuggles with James. So much sweetness! (and we didn't melt in the August heat!)

Zinnia | Silver Spring, MD

I think I found my new favorite spot! One of the few downsides to moving the ‘burbs is the lack of unique restaurants that have that character and charm to stand out from the chains and big operations. I always loved this about DC. But Zinnia in Silver Spring has renewed my faith that they are out there! This spot has an adorable (and large) garden area, cozy tavern and beautiful dining area. I had lunch with a friend there and look forward to going back and trying dinner. The food is healthy and delicious! And lots of room for kids to run if you bring the fam. Definitely recommend!
