Studio Christmas Session with Friends: The Hammer Family
Friends, festive vibes, and a little potty humor made this holiday session one to remember.
Photographing friends always feels special. The Hammer family came into the studio ready for some holiday photos, and we had so much fun mixing cozy indoor shots with a few quick ones outside. Val (aka @mizchynuhdoll) is my go-to makeup artist, so it was an extra treat to have her on the other side of the camera with her crew. A few classic potty jokes brought out the biggest smiles (no shame, it works every time). These are the sessions that remind me how much joy this season can hold.
Fast, Fun, and Full of Smiles: Haskell Family Mini Session
We moved fast, smiled big, and soaked in the fall color with this sweet crew (plus their au pair!).
The Haskell family came ready. Big smiles, good energy, and a willingness to move quickly (a major win for mini sessions). We took advantage of the colorful fall leaves in the Poplar Run neighborhood and made every minute count. I especially loved that they included their au pair in the session. The connection between her and the kids was real and so worth documenting. These are the sessions that remind us that it doesn’t have to take long to get great family photos. A few minutes, some good light, and the people you love? That’s all we need.
