Italy Part 5: back to Rome

July 20, 2017 Ginny Thomas

We finished our wonderful trip to Italy back in Rome where we toured the Vatican and enjoyed our last few days of amazing and wonderful food!  We even did a little photo shoot on the streets of Rome...just because!

Italy Part 4: Florence

July 16, 2017 Ginny Thomas

Our last big city was Florence- where renaissance feels still alive!  I love how old and romantic this city feels.  It's purely magical.  We toured the Uffizi and saw the David, had some of our best meals, and saw the Boboli Gardens.  Love this city!

The Moore crew brought all the personality for their studio Christmas mini session. Their three year old and five month old were active and engaged - we played, we pivoted, and we still captured the cutest moments. Loved this holiday session so much.
This family walked into the studio ready to go. Big smiles, easy laughs, and the sweetest sibling bond that made this Christmas mini session feel waaaaay too easy. Some sessions are calm in all the right ways and this was one of them. Loved creating
The busy fall season is allllmost coming to a close (!!) and I wanted to pay tribute to the true MVP of ++almost++ all my family sessions.

Giggles, golden leaves, and picturesque bridges. Livvy’s fall session at Sligo Creek was pure autumn joy. 🍁 She nailed the “fake laugh” better than anyone and made our session a breeze. #FallFamilyPhotos #SligoCreek #DMVPhotograph
Meet little Theo, who just had his very first Christmas mini session! 🎄✨ This little guy was totally mesmerized by the sparkly tree lights and gave us all the holiday feels. Sometimes the magic is all in those tiny moments of wonder. ❤️ #FirstChrist
Holiday photos with friends are just that much more fun.

Val @mizchynuhdoll (my go-to makeup artist) and her crew brought all the good energy.

Studio warmth + quick outdoor shots = the best mix.
Also, shout out to potty jokes for breaking the ice.
It was freezing. Windy. So cold.
But this family showed up and made it happen.
We moved fast. We got the shots.

❄️ Cold doesn’t have to mean canceled. We’ll make it work!

These mini sessions were fast, fun, and filled with love.
