Why I Love Mommy & Me Sessions
There’s something so special about capturing the bond between a mama and her little one. This recent outdoor session with a sweet eight–month–old and her mom was full of laughter, snuggles, and those in–between moments that tell the story of their relationship so beautifully.
At this stage, babies are discovering the world with wide eyes and endless expressions. Chubby hands reaching, little giggles bubbling up, and the way they lean into mom for comfort. Watching them together reminded me why I adore offering these sessions: because moms deserve to be seen in the story, not just the one behind the camera.
So often, mothers are the memory–keepers- snapping photos of milestones and everyday life while rarely stepping into the frame themselves. Mommy and me sessions flip the script. They give you a chance to be fully present with your child, with tangible reminders of the love and connection you share in this exact season.
