We had a wonderful stay in Sorrento and took in the beauty of the coast! Our time there included a death-defying bus ride around the cost to Positano and Amalfi, a day trip/tour to the ancient city of Pompeii, an unforgettable meal at the Grand Hotel Victoria, hidden and beautiful rocky shores, and lots and lots of delicious food and LIMONCELLO!!
Part one of the Italy series is up! Our first stop was Rome- loved the history and the uniqueness of this city. We did a tour of the Colosseum, saw the Pantheon, and ate lots and lots of good food!
We traveled once again the beautiful Salamander resort for a quick weekend getaway. The motivation was the "picnic on the lawn" showing none other then my favorite movie, "Dirty Dancing". But sadly it was rained out (even though it didn't rain...) so we had our own little outdoor picnic and enjoyed a relaxing time at what is quickly becoming a favorite resort!! We also enjoyed breakfast in the town of Middleburg and all the friendly people!
