World War II Flyover
Over 50 airplanes that flew in World War II did a flyover the National Mall to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) day. It was pretty moving to see them all in formation- this was the view from the Jefferson Memorial
Passport DC
I love this annual event in DC where the Embassies open their doors to share about their country and culture! It was definitely busy with lots of long lines, but we got to see Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Haiti, Qatar and the Ukraine. All very different but very interesting!
