Yesterday we enjoyed a chilly morning but gorgeous day to support a dear friend at the 2024 DC ScopeItOut - Colorectal Cancer Alliance walk on the National Mall! It was a family affair and I’m so proud we had zero complaining from both kids (and 1 pretty much slept in the stroller!) and were big fans of the poo stress toys…..naturally…. I maaaaay have broken away from the walk briefly to see the Tidal Basin in all it’s cherry blossom glory (the timing was too perfect at peak bloom!) but it also reinforced why I don’t join in the crazy down at the Tidal Basin…So. many. people. !! But the beauty of the blooms never ceases to leave me in awe. Just so gorgeous! I snapped a few pics and ran back to enjoy the rest of the walk!
