Today we headed to the US Botanical Gardens for their train display and the Capitol Christmas tree! It was a beautiful day and Noah enjoyed the cookie Daddy bought him, the tractor on the Capitol grounds and the birds on the frozen pond. Oh yeah, and the trains….;)
This season I decided to take in the peak cherry blossom peak at the gorgeous Kenwood neighborhood in Bethesda, MD. It was a welcome change from fighting the tourists and crowds and traffic at the Tidal Basin! I still enjoyed the beautiful blossoms!
I FINALLY made it to Glenstone and I can’t believe what i have been missing out on! WOW! I had planned to go back in 2020 right before the world shut down and then life happened (COVID, baby, etc, etc) and now nearly a year and a half later I made it! I was BEYOND impressed and wish I could have meandered all day instead of the quick window I finally had for myself. But it was well worth it and I can’t wait to go back and explore more. It was breathtaking and so peaceful. The place itself is a work of art. Thank you Glenstone! My camera and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
