Dumbarton Oaks | Washington DC

I enjoyed getting to Dumbarton Oaks last week before the blooms went away (and apparently spring went away!) but we had a glorious day last week and I checked out the gardens at this lovely spot right in my neighborhood!

Checking out those beautiful blossoms!

This morning was my chance to get up early and capture those beautiful blossoms before the crowds!  Thankfully it wasn't too cold but it was a bit overcast so I missed the pretty glow of the sunrise!  But still worth the early wake up call to get out there and see these guys before the snow (???) tomorrow!!

Rawlins Park

This is one of the places I've heard has the first blooms of spring with those lovely magnolia blooms, so I wanted to check it for some spring spirit!
